ATRA has since 1991 distributed tyres for forklifts, industrial vehicles, and earth moving vehicles with the aim of providing the most complete service to their customers in addition to offering quality products. Today they also play a significant role in agriculture and in addition to tyre distribution they also provide a range of services related to the industry.
ATRA offers mobile and on-site tyre service from eight sites/locations covering all of Hungary. In order to handle larger wheels and tyres and to expand their mobile and on-site offerings, Somos Tibor, ATRA CEO, in 2019 invested in an Easy Gripper 2400-2T Compact.
Bringing the Easy Gripper mounted on a JCB telehandler along together with a mobile tyre fitting station on a service truck to their customers’ sites, has enabled ATRA to offer complete on-site tyre service of larger industrial tyres.
On-site tyre fitting on large machines

Designed to improve working environment
The Easy Gripper is not only designed to optimize the workflow – primarily it was designed to improve the working environment both when it comes to decrease the daily strains on the workers handling large tyres, as well as to minimizing the risks of serious accidents.
The precise and accurate rotation and tilt functions prevents accidents and damages caused by uncontrolled movements, and the integrated camera system makes mounting of wheels an easy and safe one-man job in workshops, at OEM assembly lines (mounted on forklifts or small electrical stackers) or for mobile tyre service (mounted on truck cranes or telehandlers etc.).
